Fabulousvintage jade tusk pendants with silver bails. They are NOS made from genuine green nephrite jade. They were hand carved into a curved tooth or tusk shape and are considered amulets of ancient origin worn to protect against the evil eye. These have asilver bail on the top. They are a nice dark greenwith a few minor inclusions visible in the horn. They have been polished to a shiny finish. From an old jewelry store that closed out, packaging says made in Taiwan.
The Italian's call themcornuto, corno, or cornicello. Corno means "horn" and cornicellomeans "little horn" -- these names refer to a long, gently twisted horn-shaped amulet.
